PASTOR JAMES E MACKEY III

Pastor James E. Mackey III is a meek man of God who came to know the Lord at the age of 6. He was called to the ministry and preached his first sermon at the early age of 12 while attending Orlando Evangelistic Pentecostal Church, under the late Elder Edward Fields. He is the son of the late James Mackey Jr. and a mighty woman of God, Minister Linda A. Williams. Pastor Mackey was later guided in the ministry under Elder T. L. Smith while attending Temple of Faith EPC in Orlando, Florida; a place Pastor Mackey calls home.

During the earlier stages of Pastor Mackey’s ministry, the Lord allowed him to be shepherded and taught by two great men of God; the Honorable Bishop Apostle S.D James D.D of the S.D James Evangelistic Pentecostal Churches Worldwide, and his father in the ministry, the Honorable Elder Terry L. Smith who is currently the Senior Pastor of Temple of Faith EPC in Orlando, Florida, and Christ Temple EPC in Atmore, Alabama. Pastor Mackey received various trainings and mentoring from Friendship Christian Fellowship under the leadership and disciplining of the beloved and highly respected Senior Pastor and Founder of Friendship Christian Fellowship Minister Jeffery W. Jackson. In addition, Pastor Mackey attended Multnomah Bible College in Portland Oregon. Pastor Mackey received his ordination on April 30, 2006 at Friendship Christian Fellowship before he and his family relocating to Phoenix Arizona.

Pastor Mackey’s personal Mission Statement:
“Striving to draw the best from people; and inspire them to maximize their Godly resources through Jesus Christ.” Pastor Mackey uses this principle as the focus of his ministry as well as at his place of business.

This remarkable man of God, who truly breaks the bread of life, continuously humbles himself before God and is treasured by many. When asked about himself, he simply says that he loves the Lord; his family; and his church. Pastor Mackey’s prayer is that God will continue to get the Glory from his life. He longs to hear God say, “Well done My good and faithful servant.” His testimonial Scripture comes from Deuteronomy 28:13 that says, “The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them; you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.” NIV

Pastor Mackey and family relocated from Oregon were he was the Assistant Pastor at Friendship Christian Fellowship in Beaverton, Oregon. He then became the Co-Pastor of Rhema Christian Center in Phoenix, AZ. under the direction of Bishop Alonzo Steele, D.D. his Spiritual Father. On May 21, 2009 he and his wife birthed Abundant Life Living Christian Center. On July 12, 2009 he was installed by Bishop Alonzo Steele, D.D. from Rhema ministries as Pastor and Founder. He is married to the lovely Lady Felicia A.Mackey, and the father of 4 beautiful children; Chamela L. Jenkins-Mackey, Jaiva A. Mackey, Jazmine A. Mackey, and James E. Mackey IV.
